About the author and illustrator
Matt Zurbo grew up in the western suburbs and now lives in the Otway Ranges. His
previous books and awards are Idiot Pride (shortlisted CBCA Book of the Year, 1997;
Victorian top 150 book list); Flyboy and the Invisible; Hot Nights Cool Dragons
(shortlisted Aurealis awards); Blow, Kid, Blow (shortlisted for APA design awards); and I
Got A Rocket (soon to be a cartoon series).
Sarah Dunk works as a freelance illustrator
for editorial, publishing and institutional
organisations, using digital and traditional
techniques. She has drawn freelance
illustrations and completed
design/production work for The Oxford
University Press, Explore Magazine, Drive, The
Age, Australian Orthodontic Journal,
Rehame Australia and Brown Prior Anderson.
