Jockey has merged its hallmark qualities of superior comfort and fit with science
and sophisticated technology to create an Australian first in men’s underwear and
provide him with a functional solution no matter what his movements.
The Research
Jockey International scanned over 6,000 male bodies worldwide to develop a
thorough understanding of the human anatomy. This research included analysing
men’s body shapes and sizes through to the complex movements they conduct
on a daily basis.
The Result
The result of such extensive research is a unique underwear range that moulds to
the natural contours of the human form, creating a three dimensional fit perfectly
tailored to the male body.
The secret to the flexible Jockey 3D Innovations™ range is in the unique 8-way
stretch achieved through creative pattern construction and design.
Unlike anything else on the market the 8-way stretch has a multi-dimensional
equation:
* Each undergarment is cut across the bias to provide a 2-way stretch
* Each panel is then cut across the grain to provide a 4-way stretch
* Two halves of the undergarment are then twisted and joined with a seam to provide a 2-way stretch
* 2 + 4 + 2 = Jockey 3D Innovations with an 8-way stretch
This formula ensures a garment that moulds and contours around the curves of
the male physique -and not just across it.
The 3-dimensional element is taken one step further in the case of the Jockey 3D
Innovations™ trunk and midway which boast ribbed leg openings with an inventive
stitching technique to allow freedom of movement in the leg without riding up!
Created from an ultra soft cotton spandex, the unique design of Jockey 3D Innovations fuses precision and functionality with flat lock body defining seams and a soft plush elastic waistband, all contributing to the end result - the ultimate in comfort and fit in each and every garment.
The range comes in two colours (white or black with a red waistband) and includes
a classic brief, a modern low rise hipster brief, a low rise short leg trunk and a
midway which features a longer leg design.
